From a young age, René has learned the importance of caring for others, ensuring they are taken care of, and the hard work that goes into it. Coming from a German and Filipino background and being raised in both Germany and the United States, René has gained a deep understanding of how individuals approach and handle things differently. With this perspective, he has the goal of helping everyone to the best of his abilities, even if it is just to lend an ear.
René enjoys learning, building, and creating positive outcomes. These traits have helped him throughout his life, as he has largely self-taught himself through experimentation, online tutorials, and, more recently, hands-on work with AI tools to streamline day-to-day processes. Whether it’s resolving an IT issue, coding in HTML, editing photos, or building efficient workflows, he’s always willing to learn and try something new. Using this skill set, René is able to help manage a wide range of the firm’s operational needs, working closely with the Admin team to keep things running smoothly.
René began his journey in the legal field as Mohammad’s assistant at another firm, and later joined him in opening MNK Law. After some time with the firm, René stepped away to serve as a Bureau Secretary for a Housing Authority, where he oversaw a range of administrative functions and gained broader experience in operations and organizational support. He has since returned to MNK Law, growing into the role of Operations Manager and expanding his responsibilities to become a true jack of all trades.
René works closely with MNK’s attorneys to ensure all legal and administrative duties are handled, from updating firm documents, to preparing and formatting legal documents, to filing documents with the courts. Leveraging his creative and technical skills, René also continues to support MNK’s marketing efforts, including graphic design for social media content.
