Experience:
Since 2015, Nellie has been practicing law starting in family law. She has successfully represented clients in a variety of family law matters, including pre- and post-judgment custody, child support, and divorce. During her legal education, Nellie served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Christine Byrd at the Los Angeles Superior Court, where she gained invaluable experience working closely with the judge for over a year.
More recently, Nellie has specialized in contracts and business law, working with the Small Business Administration (SBA), a federal government agency. In this role, she provided legal analysis and interpretation of disaster loan programs, regulations, and policies. She played a key role in the SBA’s pandemic EIDL loan projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and addressing complex legal issues related to business operations and contract compliance.
